11 Pakistan Migrants Found Dead In Jodhpur


Eleven members of a Pakistan Hindu migrant were found dead at a farm in Lodta village of Rajasthan’s Jodhpur district on 9th August, said the police.
However, a member of the family was found alive outside the hut they lived in the Dechu area, an officer confirmed.
Superintendent of Police (Rural) Rahul Barhat said that they are yet to ascertain the cause and means of death. Though, it has been suspected that the members of the family have committed suicide by consuming chemicals in the night.
He further commented, there was some chemical sort of smell in the hut, that indicates they must have consumed it. The family members were Hindu migrants from Pakistan, they belonged to the Bhil community and had been living in the farm in Lodta village, which was hired by them for farming.
The SP further said that there was neither any injury mark on any of the bodies nor any evidence of any foul play. He added, But we have roped in the forensic team and a dog squad to arrive at any final conclusion.
Introductory information suggests that there was some dispute among the family over certain issues.
However, the survivor is yet to be interrogated and only then the police would be in a position to comment further and lay hold of this case.
