Coronavirus: India’s Coronavirus crosses 1 lakh, the record goes up to 64.73 lakh


US President Donald Trump and wife Melania Trump have tested positive for coronavirus as they experience coughing, congestion, and fever.  

On Friday, Oct 2nd, Trump was hospitalized as he tested positive for Novel Coronavirus, officials said Trump had mild symptoms. He has flown to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center after being given an experimental antibody treatment. Officials added that he would remain in the hospital for several days and postponed his upcoming campaign events for the presidential elections. In a video posted to Twitter, Trump said he thought he was “doing very well”.

On the other hand, today, In India coronavirus tally rose to 64,73,544 with 79,475 new cases in the last 24 hours. India’s total coronavirus cases went up by 1,069 to 1,00,842. As many as 54,27,796 people have recovered from the infection, the case fatality rate stood at 1.56%.

At the same time, Kerala recorded its highest one-day rise of 9,258 new COVID-19 cases, taking its tally to 2,12,626. According to Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure that prohibits the gathering of more than four people, it has been forested in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, and Kottayam districts amidst rising coronavirus cases. The orders will be in effect from October 3 to October 31.

Coronavirus has affected more than 3.44 crore people, globally, whereas, the reports suggested by Johns Hopkins University shows that the global fatality rate has reached up to 10,26,753. Though more than 2.39 people have been recovered, worldwide, so far.
