Prime Minister Narendra Modi started his speech with his greetings to Onam and Barna Festival. In his 68th edition of the monthly radio broadcast Maan ki Baat, Today.

PM Modi had tweeted on Saturday after seeking suggestions from people on the topics to be discussed during the show. “What do you think should be discussed during this month’s #MaanKiBatt, which will take place on the 30th?” he asked on twitter and told people to send their inputs by writing to him using NaMo or MyGov App or by recording their messages by calling on 1800-11-7800.

-PM Modi in his speech talked about making ‘toys for the world’ and highlighted the ability of India to become a ‘toy hub’. “There has been a rich tradition of local toys in our country. Many talented and skilled artisans possess expertise in making good toys. Toys are very important for the development of children. Even Rabindranath Tagore has spoken about the importance of toys. India has the talent and the ability to become a toy hub by making toys for the entire world,” the PM said.

– PM Modi praised the teachers for adapting to technology amid the coronavirus pandemic.

-“September will be celebrated across the country as the nutrition month,” Modi said. In this campaign towards nutrition, the participation of the public is important, the PM said and added that the attempts were being made to spread its awareness.

-I urge our startup to team up for toys, this also matches our call for a vocal for local. I urge our young brothers to make games in India and also for India.

-There is a strong bond between our Festivals and the environment. We have many festivals that are related to the protection of our environment.
