A good heart is key to a long-living and healthy life. If you say that your heart is good at health, then just by making some changes in your daily lifestyle you will improve your heart health.
Here are some ways to charge your heart health.
Avoid tobacco: Quitting tobacco is the biggest gift to your heart. After a year of quitting, the risk of heart disease becomes less. Then after fifteen years of quitting the risk of the disease is as same as a non- smoker.
Control cholesterol: Cholesterol increases the risk of heart disease and heart attacks. Medications can help improve your cholesterol.
Get more sleep: Good long sleep makes your heart work less, means the heart instead of fluctuating normal, it stays elevated.
Exercise daily: Start walking or jogging for at least 15 minutes a day. Increase your activity by five minutes each week until you’re getting a minimum of 30 minutes most days of the week. If exercise doesn’t get your goals, go for medication.
Change your diet: Keep the unhealthy food aside and put raw veggies and fruits in front of the refrigerator so that’s what you see first. Add Leafy Green Vegetables like spinach, kale, and collard greens and Whole Grains, Fatty fish, walnuts, and beans to your diet.
Have your blood pressure and blood sugar level checked regularly.
