Control cholesterol: Cholesterol increases the risk of heart disease and heart attacks. Medications can help improve your cholesterol.

Get more sleep: Good long sleep makes your heart work less, means the heart instead of fluctuating normal, it stays elevated.

Exercise daily: Start walking or jogging for at least 15 minutes a day.  Increase your activity by five minutes each week until you’re getting a minimum of 30 minutes most days of the week. If exercise doesn’t get your goals, go for medication.

Change your diet: Keep the unhealthy food aside and put raw veggies and fruits in front of the refrigerator so that’s what you see first. Add Leafy Green Vegetables like spinach, kale, and collard greens and  Whole Grains, Fatty fish, walnuts, and beans to your diet.
