The father of the girls, aged 13 and 15, said that two minor boys tempted his daughters on September 18 and raped them along with three others. According to the reports of India Today, two minor girls were allegedly abducted and raped for straight three days in Baran, Rajasthan.
A Baran official said the father of two minors filed a complaint about the same on Sept 19, according to Zee News. The father said two boys tempted his daughters on Sept 18 from Baran and took them to Kota and Jaipur. The two accused along with three others raped the girls in two cities, said the father in his complaint. Later, the girls were found in Kota on Sept 21.
The family of the girls claimed that they were threatened by the about filing a complaint against the accused. The minor’s family alleged that they were threatened by the accused in front of the police.
The minors had undergone a medical examination on Sept 22, the next day, the girls were produced before a judicial officer for recording their statements, the police officers said that minors had gone to Kota on their own without being forced. They (police) claimed that the girls turned down rape and kidnapping charges in their statement.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot criticized the media and the Opposition parties for comparing the case with the Hathras rape in which four upper-caste men in UP raped and tortured a 19-year-old Dalit woman. The woman died on Tuesday, nearly two weeks after the incident.
